Incredible story really. I didn't rate the lad at all, and although I think Koeman overdid it with how harshly he treated him, I certainly backed his assessment of Niasse as a player.

I've just emerged from the tube to a bizarre new World where Everton win and Niasse bangs them in.

Got to say this Niasse compared to Niasse from a year ago are completely different players.

Think Silva and Unsy need credit for the work they've done with him in the past year, touch looks better, more energetic, genuine goal threat.

Whether or not he's a long term solution he's our best option atm and Koeman owe's him his job.

Honestly couldn't make this up.

The lad was laughed at, made fun out of on social media, sent out on loan, was told he doesn't have a future at Everton in public by Koeman and that he doesn't have a locker; which led to more laughs.

We've started the season poorly, couldn't hit a barn door and yet in the space of playing a handful of minutes this season finds himself Evertons top scorer. He's done this without saying a peep to anyone and believing in himself.
