He doesn't rate him though, he barely used him between signing him and the day he was sacked. Martinez knew straight away he'd made a massive mistake signing this bloke, he just tried to cover it up as long as he could.

Agree on this, even if it was just 3m, forget what we paid, we messed up, but if we can get something back it would be nice and at least if he is bought he can play againt us, which would be good fun!!

It does matter if he only scores a few goals all season on loan, he will be worthless when he returns. We would have lost more millions off his sell on price.
