I've just trawled through the first 19 pages of this thread to activate the vaulting phase, unfortunately the material available wasn't worth the effort. He was garbage from page 1.

Yeah a panic buy. Would rather take our time on the right signings than waste money. No stupider name for Moyes than dithering Dave, his transfer record was exceptional.

If anything I think it emphasised the importance of doing deals early, so you can get in the players you really want and aren't left scrambling around for panic buys at the last minute
