Amazing with a scouting network that its possible to sign him for 13mill, very odd and very very suspicious
Maybe they watched him in a couple of games where he played like he did against Bournemouth and thought, job done! Lazy scouting that should have ended up in someone being reassigned to sweeping up the Bullens Rd after the match...or just plain money laundering.

No. We did not make a profit for Mori according to the media report.

The players you mentioned above, we were struggling to get rid of them by loans. Nevermind some clubs pay to buy them.

I just think Martinez bought a lot of tosh. And he did the same thing like Walsh and Koeman.
Some say we did. It's all part of every football clubs day to day.Don't think overall we have a worse record than most other clubs. It's just highlighted with us because we've spent some decent money and got nowhere near winning anything.

Disgusting behaviour from Koeman - niasse should have taken him to court for that. Bullying pure and simple.

Koeman is a boorish idiot who wrecked the Valencia dressing room. Their fans despise him.

I blame koeman for Barkley- awful the way he treated him too.
This has been debated before when it was relevant to us , however in the interest of veracity Valencia were in chaos both in the dressing room and the boardroom long before Koeman arrived. In fact he was more the victim than the perpetrator. The true story is out there if you care to seek it out.
Concerning Barkley , if Koeman was so awful to Barkley it is strange that shortly after joining Chelsea and after Koemans dismissal Ross gave an interview praising Koeman for improving him as a player and expressing sadness at his dismissal.
The only reason Barkley left us is because he wanted to and had decided to do so before Koeman had even arrived.
All largely irrelevant to us now , but I prefer to read facts rather than self perpetuating myths.

Yeah, no way do I blame Koeman for Barkley. He was already making his stupid transition into deep lying playmaker long before Koeman.

We can blame Koeman for a lot of things, but one thing that you cant pin on him is Barkley. If Barkley wanted to be with us still he would be, anyway i dont care about him now, he isnt that good and we have moved on.

13 million wasn't bad all told. He may be a technically poor player but he gives his all. We probably got two loan fees for him and It's peanuts these days and his mini scoring run helped keep us up a few years back.

Didn’t Barkley also come out and say that at Chelsea it was the first time he’d ever received proper coaching? I know that’s not just Koeman but he’s still a part of that.

Kevin Reeves was the head scout who brought him in. He passed on the opportunity to see him in a few training matches in the Canary Islands before we bought him, but allegedly watched him 5 times in Russia. The selling club received 6m.

Make of it what you want

Possibly... for me I'm not so sure.

Agents are there waiting to pounce at the first sign of vulnerability from a player. Barkley had no kids at schools or anything like that - as soon as koeman was doing his weekly Barkley moancast the agent will have been in his ear.

Martinez seemed confident Barkley was staying.
