Better have an obligation to buy him for 45m if he keeps them up.

He is a tough one though.

I mean he is obviously limited and a pretty unique type of player but he does score goals. For all his detractors he has always got that.

Do you take a striker who will get goals even if it may be to the detriment of the team as a whole? At a club like Cardiff who will be scrapping for every point they can get yeah you probably do but don't really want to be stuck with him afterwards.

Good luck to him if he goes, he will probably do alright.

Wages mate, always someone who will take dross but not on silly wages. Niasse is on £70k a week apparently.

If it's true that we're letting him go to Cardiff on loan then that's a terrible decision imo. We don't have many options upfront right now so it makes zero sense to let one go on loan. Niasse right be comically poor at times but he's still an option that we're throwing away for very little gain. I could of understood it if we were getting a good cash offer but I fail to see any benefit in a loan deal. Cardiff will still more then likely get relegated and he'll no doubt be back here next season for the final year of his contract.
