Im thinking we wanted to hold on, see if anybody wanted to buy, we waited 2 weeks and "technically" hes holding up our incoming transfers, so I assume nobody is willing to pay cash money.

Sure we could have waited another 2 weeks, in the hope that somebody lashed money at us, but thats the gamble.

Would have preferred him sold but at least he is off the wage bill till the end of the season which will hopefully increase the chances of us bringing a proper striker in even if just on loan. Mind you i am not sure £2.50 a week will actually get us that much tbf.

The reason we can't even give some of our players away is because of the crazy contracts we gave them. It's going to take years to sort this mess out. Loans will have to do for now.
