We need better in Jan , he tried his best but it isn't good enough at this level over a season.
He seems a likeable chap
Great attitude , good worker , puts himself about a bit , always has a smile on his face and I’d say he’s popular with his teammates
But he is an exceptionally poor footballer in all technical aspects of the game

Said this all summer all last season but certain people won't have it. The man is absolutely useless.

Just because you said it doesn't mean you are right.
How is he absolutely useless? He scores goals at a good rate and makes things happen.
Certain people cant get their head around a player being of use despite not being easy on the eye.
He is what he is. A squad man who can get a goal here and there.

If niasse gets decent game time he will score goals. He has proven this last season.
His workrate, speed and luck compensate for his lack of technical ability.
Would be a better option up front on his own than tosun. Tosun should be holding up the ball and linking up with our wide forwards but has not done great at this so far.
Next option is use someone with pace to look to get in behind opposition defence, this will push the opposition back deeper give more space to our midfield.

Fair shout, but he's not a player you want challenging your main striker.
It's not good when we're losing and all we have as another option upfront is Niasse.

For all the poor and decent things Niasse brings, in our current squad, he's fine as a squad player as backup, and good enough at least to keep DCL and Tosun on their toes, if not pushing them to higher standards. A bit of competition that's all. If we get someone of a better quality, then DCL / Tosun become back up players.
