Niasse makes defenders work. Not the best of players but (for better or worse!) there's no one else like him in the squad -- by which I mean when we are making no impact at all up front, someone who can inject strength and determination. All bar the very best sides need one.

Agreed, so has Niasse been "frozen out" of the starting 11? I guess so...sadly.

He'd be a good signing for any bottom half side at £15m but looks lost with quality around him.

..clearly surplus to requirements, I can see him being in demand from clubs looking for a quick goalscoring fix in January. I imagine the Blues will be looking for a permanent as opposed to a loan deal. Cardiff were keen but i’m not sure they’ll have money to spend.

He’s a proper Cardiff signing if they have the money.

Will be gutted when he goes. Been a very vocal supporter of him, especially through the summer. But the quality we signed has moved us on. If richarlison wasn’t playing up top, there would maybe be a reason to keep him, but even I accept that he is surplus. He did a job last year and needs yanked for that but I guess it’s time.
