It's squad.
You're squad is only allowed to have 25 players over 21 named to it. And only 17 players of those 25 are allowed to be non home grown.
But 17 foreign players over 21, with no home grown players in your match squad and 30 foreign players under 21 is fine.
It's not exactly airtight. Especially since you can just not play your home grown squad fillers (hello rodwell, barry and sinclair).

Just think some people are too quick to offer opinions on players they don't know very much about!
Although I do kind of partly blame the lousy media coverage of this transfer. Most people don't watch Serie A so simply being told he's a striker with a 1 in 3 scoring rate, well you'd be forgiven for thinking he was just that! He's got so much to his game though and I'm sad that those horrible city fans will get to see him play for them.

Totally mate. I'm a right one for that.
I've seen Jovetic i'd say about 5 times. 3 of them he was really good and about 2 not so good. I guess that's where I got my opinion, not based on much but in just what i've seen.
And you're right, I see hardly any of Serie A these days, but tons of the Spanish League. I'd go with someone who watches loads of Serie A like yourself over my 5 game verdict!
I'm really curious how they will do next season, Di Canio has signed some good players (although I've not seen all of them playing), but I think they might struggle with Mannone as keeper, I'd rather go for Westwood as Nr. 1.

6.5 mil is a steal. He's versatile and can comfortably play anywhere from the wing to central midfield, but I'd agree with your implication that he's best out wide. Him on the left, Johnson on the right, not too bad at all.
