Other teams summer transfer deals/ rumors

mate said he 'heard'(ie: probably Twitter ****e) spurs are making a move for Mata. can't see Chelsea letting him move there, too close to each other in the league imo.

If the only reason that they bought Willian was to stop him going to Spurs, then I can't see them letting Mata go there. No idea why Mourinho doesn't apparently fancy him, but he would be ace for someone. It looks like he's on £57k per week (£3m per year). Fellaini looks to be our top earner on £80k per week (£4.16m per year). Potentially he could be affordable on loan, if Roberto could pull off another coup.

According to the manager of Romanian outfit Steaua Bucharest, Laurentiu Reghecampf, Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Vlad Chiriches.

The two clubs have agreed to transfer him. I'm very happy for him. I cannot say the amount for which [he was] transferred, but it is very high. It will be the most expensive transfer in the history of Steaua. The owner says that all there is left to do is sign some documents.

The Romanian fella 'should' join after Steua's have played the second leg of their CL tie (which they have demanded he be allowed to play in).

As for Mata I would say there is no more than a 1pct chance of us signing him but it would be an incredible piece of buisness if it happened.

Hulk the latest name in a very long list.

Bale not turned up for training now. It's crazy that these mega rich players who freely enter contracts get away with this behavior. Any player who refuses to play for their clubs to force a move should have their license to play revoked for 6 months AFTER they join their new clubs. Same should apply if they are subsequently found to have discussed moves without their clubs knowledge.

to be fair, we dont know whats gone on. levy has a very long history of being a complete **** with players after 'gentleman' agreements to let them leave.

Gentlemen's agreements aren't worth the paper they are written on.

Do you genuinely believe that a businessman like Levy says to a player, 'sign this contract son & if another team makes an offer for you in the summer son, you can leave no probs'!

:lol::lol:

Sunderland is trying to get Bradley. He's my favorite USMNT player (I have his jersey) but I'd hate to see him in the prem as I don't think his game translates well to prem football. Hopefully he'll stay in Italy (I would think Roma is a better place to play than Sunderland anyway).

He's an excellent goal scorer, defends well, is rarely injured, improves every year and works is behind off. However I think the one weakness in his game is that if you immediately put pressure on him he has a tendency to make some bad mistakes. Probably not the weakness you have in a league that doesn't give you space and time on the ball. That being said I haven't seen much of him at Roma so maybe he's a different player now.

If you're happy to sell out decency in football mate then sound go ahead. As long as you're winning eh?

I can understand Bale if he got a mood on, he got the chance of joining Madrid and Spurs are trying to take the piss by asking for 90 million, I would be fuming as well. The extra pressure that on Bale shoulders due to spurs greed.
