I have some time for Sunderland. Not because of the way they play which seems to be have been awful forever, but for their long-suffering fans. A club with a great history (6 league titles), but seem perennially to get their hopes up and then get kicked in the teeth. How many years on the trot can you be in a relegation battle? Actually it would be interesting to find out what club has struggled at the bottom of the table for the longest in terms of years without going down. Villa seems like another team that is always nearly going down but manages to stay up.
