What makes me confident that we’ll make signings in the next four weeks, is that we always do. We hadn’t signed a single player at this point last season and ended up getting 5 in who all became pretty much our best players. I’ll save my flapping for the end of the window if needs be.

LUKAKU UPDATE...

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has arrived in the United Kingdom to meet with Manchester United officials and start talks over a move for striker Romelu Lukaku.

Talks, which we reported on Tuesday would take place later this week, are now expected to get underway on Thursday.

Good god West Ham are ridiculous, swerved on Gomez cos they wanted to pay on the drip, swerved by Haller and now getting super dopey by thinking they could pull the same trick to get Higuain. They are nailed on to get Sturridge, Welbeck or a back water no mark and treat it like a massive deal
