Not really the case to be honest. Aguero has a history of being out with injury (he did play 33 games though last season). Whilst he is truly lethal the goals come from all over the place. Last season in all competitions:
Aguero 32
Sterling 25
Jesus 21
Sane 16
Bernado Silva 13
Marhez 12
David Silva 10
And remember De Bruyne was out for virtually most of the season who would normally reach double figures
at least. We are not as overly reliant on Aguero as a lot of people think as Guardiola sets up the team differently when he's out. Don't get me wrong he's big miss when he doesn't start but its not the end of the world. The real class about Aguero is that he is truly a big game player. The goal at the Etihad against Liverpool last season was sheer brilliance. The goal to secure the title in 2012/13 etc. He's 31yo now so no doubt the club will be planning to replace him - if you can replace a goal scorer like Aguero?
