Kovacic was big talent once, everyone here expected him to be new Modric (i'm from Croatia) but he just never developed after going to Inter. He is still talented player but problem is that he is too passive on the field, he is afraid to take risks, always playing safe passes, afraid too shoot, afraid to take on his player even if he has ability to do just that, he is just for some reason too much of a coward on the field. i don't remember single good game for our national team by him.
