Surprised RS want Jota, Think he's okay maybe he's one of them who might improve with better players.

the bigger question on that deal is the valuation on Hoever - £10 million is ludicrous for an 18 year old who has played four times

I wonder who Hoevers agent is (or rather, who his agent will be in a month)?

I don't even bother questioning how they do it anymore when that donkey Solanke went for 19m.

How they ever got north of 40m for Solanke, Ibe and Smith is beyond me. Howe needed sacking for that alone.

No wonder they're struggling to offload the dross with Bournemouth out of the picture. If they'd stayed up they'd be chucking £100m their way for Origi and Brewster.

A couple of things. Firstly the two deals seem high to me and linked (smart for FFP).

Secondly, Liverpool probably have a hefty sell on fee to pay (like 25%) and it will be heavily incentivised. There will also big a big agents fee.

It wouldn't surprise me of the 10m
5m down
2.5m to the previous team
1m for the agent.

Esentially they take 1.5m guarenteed, and some bits and bobs on milestones that never get met. It won't stop net spend FC counting it as 10m though, and then getting angry when they seemingly don't spend money.
