Dont get me wrong, I love it when a melt comes on here from somewhere else and we get to abuse them until the hammer is wielded.

There should be more of that.

Agreed, that's always a lot of fun. My favourite being that poster called GOD, who supported Aston Villa. One of my fave threads ever.

I have a couple of good mates who are Evertonians and joined to try and find if they posted on here, as I have not seen them since working with them over 10 years ago.

However, the general football discussion on here seems very sensible and level headed, and I find it rather interesting to read about a team I"ve always liked, instead of just trawling through my own sides message board hour after hour

I just think sometimes we need some sacrificial bait thrown in to placate us.

We get some interesting foreigners on since we've been euro regulars (that Hobnob that came on when we signed Billy was a bit odd) - jokes get lost in translation and lead to mad discussions.

I go to the Owlstalk forums once in a while but I don't chat, just have a looksee and I'd never wind them up...mainly I look out for their results. It's a long story that goes back to that cup final, not that I was there or even born yet for that matter.

When the Sheff Wed board was trying to sue the fans for daring to speak their views about the club I tried to sign up to 1 of their forums to give them a bit of support but I'm not sure whether they accepted my application (I called myself something like "Passing Evertonian" & they might have thought I was on a wind-up)
