West Ham have already spent 50 mil and are about to drop another 30 mil on Broja and potentially another 30 mil on a defender or midfielder

They will easily spend over 100 mil this summer and it doesn’t look like they are selling any players. I know they value rice at over 100 mil but can’t see anyone being interested with that price so can’t see rice leaving this summer.

Very unusual as gold and Sullivan are not notorious big spenders

If rice is giving them one more season it's a good tactic by west ham.
He guarantees 100m minimum even if he is garbage this season.
Spend it now to try strengthen now to get money back in league places, euro ventures and generally cementing that 'best of the rest' tag.

Then midfield they’ve got Phillips and Rodri for the holding role, then KDB, Gundo, Bernardo for the more attacking roles. Wondering whether they might look to bring in an extra midfielder. Or maybe they’ll give minutes to McAtee
