What a ludicrous question! This has to be a wind up?! Anyone who'd seriously vote for the championship is a moron of the highest possible order. We'd be down there forever. We almost certainly do a Leeds and be relegated again and spend the better part of twenty years fighting just to get back into the premier league, presuming we didn't continue to plumit further down. So it's not only a no from me but a "hell no, just what planet are you on?!" From me!
I agree it's a ludicrous question and that any Evertonian who wants us to go down to get rid of the chairman cannot be a true Evertonian in my opinion.

But why do you think it would take us years to come back up.? I believe we'd bounce straight back up and get rid of a lot of dead wood in the process. But I also believe we can do that without getting relegated in the first place.;)

I admire you positivity mate but painful experience has led me to the belief that we'd be far more likely to do a Leeds or Villa then a Newcastle (who haven't come back that much stronger then last time they were in the league). I'm sorry to say it but the club isn't what it once was and carrys a losers mentality. No way could this club cope with the idea that we'd be expected to win most weeks and sit top of the table, not to mention the fact that we'd the THE scalp of the league with everyone wanting us to fail. We'd almost certainly buckle under the pressure of it all. It's my belief that it would require an massive rebuilding job to build us back up that would take over a decade to fix. I can see that's rather a negitive outlook but it's what happens when "Big clubs" get relegated, they very rarely bounce back quickly.

The big difference between us and the other teams you mentioned is that we have a depth of very fine younger players, not just in the first team squad but also bubbling underneath. These players are struggling a bit with the quality of the premier but they will be a year older and a season more experienced and, imo, will stand out in the championship. Add in a few senior players such as Coleman, Bolasie, Funes Mori, hopefully Barkley, all of who we have missed terribly this season, plus the likes of Gana, Keane, and one or two other good pros who will go into the season with the right attitude. I think we'll dominate the division. I'd have Coleman as captain. I'd ditch Jags, Williams, Baines, Martina, Stek, Rooney, Macca, Schneids, Lennon, Mirallas and see if we can also cut our losses on Siggy & Klaassen too.

I also don't think your scenario is necessarily what happens when "Big Clubs" get relegated. Not sure what you refer to as big clubs but last time United went down they came straight back up the following season. Same too with City, Spurs and Chelsea. Both times Newcastle were relegated recently they came straight back up as champions. West Ham have been relegated 3 times in the last 20 years. They came straight back up twice and the other time it took 2 years but they reached the play off final the first year. Even Sunderland, who are struggling this year, have a record of coming straight back up.

That leaves us with Leeds and Villa. Leeds were in financial meltdown when they were relegated. Villa is the one club on which you base your argument. And no way do I think it will take us 10 years to rebuild mate. Not when we have 7 players in the England U21 squad.

Hopefully we won't get relegated this year so our different opinions are not put to the test.;)

City didn't come straight back up,in fact when Kenwright became everton chairman in 1999 City were in the third tier playing Bury and Port Vale then Gillingham in the play off final.Look how they have prospered in the time Kenwright has been our chairman we have achieved nowt on or off the field.

I said the "last time" mate. They were last relegated in 2001 and came back up as champions the following year.

I take your point though. I conveniently left that out of my post as it didn't fit my agenda;)

Really cannot understand why some folk are still going on about BK, why. He is just a bit of figurehead now and does some things for the club but his power and influence are now very limited. What would getting shut of him solve, the title has lost me there. When I look at our league problems and the upcoming panorama shot, the new stadium far more important than removing a minor figure.

People do realise given our major reliance on tv income compared to many over clubs.

That without Moshiri or whoever putting their hands in their pockets we’ll be in massive financial trouble.

The Bank of China won't underwrite a championship club

Well the percentages have stayed remarkably steady now in the poll.
I wasn't expecting over 10% to vote yes.
In a full Goodison Park, thats most of the Park End voting yes.
Significant amount of fans.
I'd say its time to close this and thanks for voting.

Kenwright still wouldn't leave.

He'll be sat in the Main Stand until the Second Coming, when Christ will rise again to banish him from these lands once and for all, and then finally put a second tier on the Park End (Rev 19:1-21).

This is a straightforward question.

The deal is one season in the Championship, then a full clear out, win the league at a canter and back in the Premier league without Kenwright involved in the club anymore.

Down, and straight back up.. That's the deal.
Sorry, buddy, but it's thinking like this that makes a good argument about everybody having a vote.
