I watched the video yesterday of the 1967 game against Man U. Half of the team I think were under 21 now compared to what we have now I will be candid why are messing about with players who are 30 or over, I do not care who they are but they are not the future. Why can't Moyes see that he needs to start using those younger players now and in the first instance I refer to Coleman and Duffy. If you want to build a team for the future that is what the manager should be doing so why in hell can he not see that. Like that bloody advert should have gone to Specsavers.

As for players who are recovering from a very long lay off because of injury why are they not playing in the reserves for a few games to get their match fitness and find their feet? Surely that would be better than pitching them straight into a full Premier game.

Spot on Robert watched the same link. Moyes need to blood the youth early.

Arteta did not play well for me. We know it's a combination of match sharpness and a lack of options with the wide midfielders not showing for the ball but you can't say he did well in that game.

He was also given time in crossing positions on a couple of occasions and didn't deliver a decent ball, I wonder if he was worried about putting his all into it. I'm sure he'll come good before the end of the season and with Pienaar suspended and Fellaini injured he'll probably have to play again before he's really ready.

Am I the only one who thought Victor was trying to clip back a cross after turning Insua? The ******** commentator was quick to criticise him for shooting but it looked to me like he tried to wrap his foot around it to chip it back into the 6 yard box. Either way he's coming back off a career threatening injury and doesn't deserve some of the comments on here.

I thought we looked a hell of a lot sharper with the Yak and Vic to e honest. The game was for players like that with a physical edge, really bar the odd set peice, Cahill chance we lacked a cuttig edge again. I like Saha and can have no complaints hes top of the pecking order at the moment. But in recent weeks we have struggled to make clear cut chances and use him effectively as an outlet. I would be tempted to give the Yak a few starts. His strength, hold up play, build up play and goal scoring prowess may offer us some additional penetration in the coming weeks Imo.

As yesterdays hurt becomes less raw its time to look forwward and count the cost - Pienaar is going to miss games, im just praying Fellainis injury isnt bad after we get the results of the scan back.

I cant help but think would Senderos have done better yesterday on the set peice we conceaded from. I dont know what Neville was trying to do with the position he took up behind Kuyt but it was a calamity of errors. Howard was rattled pure and simple he took his eye of the ball and was more concerned about Kuyt he lost sight of the ball - criminal.

I just hope it doesn't take Arteta long to be ready to go 90 minutes. I also hope that the next time he plays, it WON'T be at the DM position.
