Back in 3 weeks, we can play without a 10 for that time.

With the exception of Vlasic (is he a no 10?) we have effectively been playing without any No 10's this season anyway.....they are all poo.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lennon, Mirallas and Vlasic (No 10) behind Rooney.

Give Rooney a free role and tell Mirallas to go up tops with Vlasic moving to the left whenever he starts to wander.

Our best No 10 is probably Sigurdsson but it looks like he is already waiting for January to move on. Klassen could work in a team with pace in front and beside him but in this team is awful.

Hate the phrase "number 10" but Unsworth agrees with what seems to be the consensus that we shouldn't play multiple "number 10s"

So, if we had to give one a run of games - starting - who would you go for?

None. I'd go 4-4-2, have Calvert-Lewin as the deeper forward and Niasse running the line.

If we had to have one, it'd be Sigurdsson with Niasse and play purely counter attacking and give up on trying to control a game entirely.

But I'm going to vote "other" because the actual answer is Barkley.

Sigurdsson has yet to play in that postion when Rooney wasn't on the pitch(except the last 25 V Bournemouth). For that reason I'd like to see him in the number 10 position.

Ross if he is arsed, if not Sig. Sig makes chances just needs a run in my view with pace around him, look at the Swansea team that stayed up on multiple occasions mainly due to this set up without a major striker in this system.

Have to say that Sigs deserves a run as the number 10, we paid so much, we may as well try and get something out of him. Need to put Rooney on the bench (he can come on as an impact sub if needed) and I for one think that we need to experiment with Mirallas up top...he's not afraid to take a shot on.

As for the shouts for Ross, I actually think he plays better a bit deeper as a box to box....beside Gana or Schneids.
