Loads of our numbers are weird. A Centre Back has 2, a Left Back has 3.

Actually, a lot of the traditional numbers are based on formations not even used anymore so it's pretty meaningless.

But yes, 2 for Tarkowski and 3 for Patterson is irritating. Far more than a forward being an 8.

Keane should go and Tarkowski can wear #5.
