Yes. No question. They'd take him in a shot for that price. In fact there'd be around 50 clubs in a bidding war.
You badly underestimate him.

Sorry mate, and I don't mind being the only one who disagrees with you, but that is nonsense and it's lots of Evertonians who overestimate him simply because we spent £15M, which was way too much for his position in regards to value for our club.. A player like Fellaini, who misplaces tackles, passes, shots and gets booked and is generally trying to prove himself, is worth not even half of a player like Darren Fletcher, who has technique, can tackle (though he might not look as strong in doing so), and pass and shoot. There's no way Ferguson would buy Fellaini for even £10m, and that says it all. My first post on this matter says it all. If you're so confident we can get £15m for Fellaini, and that's real, then I say let's sell him. He's no Steven Gerrard and he's no Patrick Vieira. But I want him to stay and be part of a successful Everton future. But truly, he is not worth even £15m. £8m -10m maybe, to a certain type of team/club.

Tubey mate I half share your viewpoint. But I am also being realistic. For anyone to say some team in this crazy world of football would even spend £15m, right now, given the opportunity, to me, is just not realistic. It's paper talk, probably generated by Everton people. The only way we'll get more than £10m on Fellaini is if we have a great season, i.e. cup win, almost or 4th plced finish. That's the truth. We need to not be thinking of selling him, but thinking of building a team with the likes of him in it. That's why we spent so much. So we could relax worrying about one of the CM positions. I don't wanna sell him. Unless it's £20m+, which is both unrealistic and also above the fee we paid.

Are you honestly saying Fellaini is a worse player than when we signed him, and is worth almost half of what Jordan Henderson is in todays market?

Madness... I'm sorry, but the way I'm reading what you're saying is that because he isn't skinning players and scoring 30 a season then he's not worth much. That just isn't what squad building in the game of football is about. You can't have eleven Messi's on the pitch.

Jesus christ...

Jesus christ...

I just spoke to Jesus Christ on the phone and he assured me that neither he, nor Alex Ferguson would be interested in signing Fellaini for even a paltry £10m, and that I am entirely correct on this matter as I am correct on everything.

I'm a bit embarrassed that I so easily fell victim to a WUM on this thread. Poor from me.

No mate. I am saying we spent £15m not because we thought he was a goalscoring type like a C Ronaldo, a Torres, or whatever, knowing we could make a profit or get our fee back. We spent £15m because he looked like he had the potential to be worth £15m and more, and I'm saying he hasn't realised that by a long shot, and that we need to not think about selling him, because we couldn't even fetch our £15m back right now. And I'm right.

I think you're ever so slightly very wrong on this one.

To put it mildly

No mate I'm not a wum (wind up merchant). I honestly believe no team would snap our hands off at £15M for Fellaini, right now, and I believe, in secret, there will be many Evertonians on this forum that agree with me.

It's never nice going against the consensus but I believe no team would pay £15m for Fellaini right now. Our only chance of making money this summer is by selling Baines or Jagielka, and we must sell none of these three. Fellaini must stay as must the rest. And I'm certain they will.

if you think Fellaini is good enough for Man Utd or A Ferguson, you are mistaken mate! He's OURS and lets keep him that way.

You probably think Arteta would be snapped up by Ferguson for £6m right? People, get real.

He's probably worth about £25mil. There certainly aren't loads of players like him around, but that doesn't mean he's suddenly a 'unique' player that all the big boys would fight over. If he was that highly rated one of them would have bought him already - we're not exactly in a position to stop them are we.

What's going on here??? Gary_Lineker_84-85??? Cookachoo??? some crazy WUMs lately on here.

Fellaini is a class player. I love him and we should be trying to keep him, but I think he will go, and I am positive that there will be several clubs interested at a price well in excess of what we paid for him.

Who knows what game they're playing. I wouldn't bet agianst one of them looking to wind down the contract to get a bargain and have already made a move. I certainly wouldn't trust his old feller on stuff like that.

Are we back in crazy town? Fellaini is one of our biggest assets. Chelsea would give Everton £20m cash right now for Fellaini if they knew we'd sell him.

To me though, a fit and in form Fellaini is priceless.
