Silva is not the manager I wanted. I don’t get the fuss about him at all.

Having said that he just has to improve us and I’m happy.

If I’m honest, I’d have hoped for a little more so far this season but that is not me calling for his head or anything.

Has to be given more time by all of us.
I'm with @ijjysmith

Now hold my hand

On the balance we haven't been in serious relegation worry since Nov 26th of 2017. Everton gave me an unforgettable B-Day present last year. It was a very bad gift.

Marco and the team have been far from that rubbish even if the results have happened just yet.

also under Koeman we had no playing style, I sit in the main stand and tried to figure out what he was trying to do and I nor anybody around me could see any style of play, silva has a style of play which hopefully at this point next year will see a far better return. 18 months into Koemans tenure we went backwards, he threw money at average players. Silva has signed quality players who have took time to get into the side, we have also played everybody above us except spurs away
"Be aggressive" was literally the only tactic under Koeman.

League cup exit and Spurs the only real disappointing performances for me.
By this time last year there were too many horrorshows passed to easily remember them all.
Cautiously optimistic for the future while not expecting anything overnight.
Slow, steady progress is good enough.

Like for like our results are similar - I think we've gained as many points as we've lost comparing the same match as last season but the main change is the improvement in our play

Sure we lost to West Ham (last year we won 4-0) but we won at Leicester and Burnley. Yes, Spurs murdered us but this time we showed up and were a little unlucky to not be 2-0 up. Last season Spurs showed us just how bad we were - and it wasn't the only time. The draw at Wolves compared to Allardyce at Swansea. The efforts at Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, RS compared to 1-5, 0-4, 0-2 and a fluke 1-1 draw playing the entire game defending. Who could possibly forget the Spurs away game as well (0-4)? Or how defensive we were home to Chelsea and RS? How about 2-5 v Arsenal?

I am accepting of our away losses and home draws if it means we are showing genuine progression. What are we going to win this season? Well hopefully the FA Cup of course.

Going the game has become enjoyable again, that speaks volumes for the work Brands and Silva have done.
Very true, although things haven't gone our way in a number of games it has been refreshing to see how we have at least tried to play, barring the catastrophe v Spurs in the main I think our defensive side has been actually better than what I have expected so far, none of the Martinez "faffing" around with the ball at the back,I thought when he took over this season we would be a work in progress, which it it seems to be so far, hopefully a couple of wins will see us back on the coat tails of the top six and a cup run would keep the season ticking over.
