There is absolutely timing issues and bad luck at play but it’s still a very poor show on the track , whether there is anything deeper at play that needs rectifying who knows .

Look at the kids on the street. Fitness levels are appalling and participation in sports let alone athletics is low.

Who knows how many potential Olympians we have lost simply by not having kids persistently doing sports for long enough to see if they develop into top tier sportsmen. Let alone the benefits of having a fitter more active population.

You said he didn’t like the Kenny’s success, which as usual for you seems a considerable distance from the truth. You said a GB rider had been found guilty of a doping offence at the Olympics some 20 years ago when the only detail I could find was an offence in a World Cup event.
