It's not a particularly good goal ratio considering the quality of the team he plays in. IMO he's not the sort of player who produces something special to win a game. If he were that good then other clubs would be lining up to buy him or have already lured him from Arsenal. That said, he's better than Kone, but I just don't think he's going to be the answer for us when Rom goes.

Thats a bit harsh on Giroud mate that ratio is outstanding for a player that Wenger has used in a very limited way.Also playing in a team with goalscorers all over the pitch.
Rom has had carte blanche with us , everthing is channelled to him scoring.
IMO if Rom played the same role sometimes used as a bit part player at Arsenel he would do very well to match them stats.
Giroud would be a terrific signing for us.
