Best case scenario for Gioroud, they sell Sanchez and don't bring in Lemar, which means Welbeck and Iwobi share that left hand side, even in that scenario though he remains back up to another french international during a world cup year

Much more likely - Lamar comes in - Sanchez maybe leaves and he's left battling it out with Welbeck for 2nd/3rd choice.

He will leave if he has any ambition for the World cup. NO country is gonna start a player ahead of his club teamate who starts for the club ahead of him
