That list is shocking. Holgate nobody knows if he'll make it at cb, and he's a poor right back who offers nothing going forward. Jag and Williams past it, hope we never see them playing together. Pennington nowhere near good enough, Mori a disaster waiting to happen and injured anyway. Besic is a midfielder.

Benteke is a much better goal scorer at a lesser club and 5 years younger.

Benteke is a much better long term option and he is better than almost everyone in the air. I'm fine with either- people are okay with paying 35 mil for a 30-year-old and not 50 mil for someone that produces just as many goals and is 5 years younger.

Agree, except to say he's potentially good if you set up around him in a very specific way.

We won't be able to do that. Leave him where he is - Giroud is the far superior option if we can pull it off.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman wants to continue his spending spree by securing Sigurdsson, while Olivier Giroud is also a target. However, Giroud favours a move to Borussia Dortmund if they sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
