I've heard that the human palate makes a subtle change at the age of 30 and that Olives all of a sudden are a taste sensation.

I think I tried them at about 26 and didn't like them and then at 30 and didn't mind them. I think your tastebuds go through puberty around that age basically mate and then you're attracted to them. Weird stuff.
I prefer black ones to green ones personally.
