Oldham away

That would be fair enough if it was done consistently, but it's not. They never use odd numbers for Prem games so why start doing it for the cup ?

Have to agree with Toshie Blue here. The reason they usually do it on even credits is because there is usually no danger of the allocation selling out as fast as it has with this one. That's why they can stagger it with the 6,4,2 system.

As Toshie Blue said, Everton will have worked out the number of away credits where the 2,800 would be guaranteed a ticket. Obviously there was more than 2,800 who had been to 4+ meaning that if they had grouped people on 5 with the people on 4, certain fans who had only been to 4 aways might have got one before a fan with 5 which isn't fair.

I'm with you on that mate, bit unfair.

Everton are probably well aware that people buy tickets with no intention of going and sell them on once they have a credit on their purchase history. I don't have a problem at all with people doing it, but if they say "only games that have been played" then it will at least prevent some people who have bought certain tickets just for the credit getting a ticket ahead of people who actually go to all the games.

Why doesn't the Bolton game count then? It is an away game I've still had to pay money for. Then there is the unplayed Man United one which is quite expensive and is only 4 days away.

They could of had the credit and still not gone the game mate, it just needs to of been played, not necessarily attended by the ticket holder.

That's a stupid rule as well. If you've paid for the ticket you should get the credit.

people were abusing the system by taking the ticket back for a refund after using the credit for another game,
i cant understand why people are moaning,it doesnt make any difference if they ask for 3,5,6 or whatever theres only 2,800 they have to look after the fans who attend the most first,if joe bloggs hasnt got enough credits its not evertons fault.

That is something I don't understand. It pissed me off with Leeds away in the League Cup as well. 5,000 of us bothered to turn up there for that piss poor performance at that ****hole of a ground and they don't count it as a credit.

Exactly. Unless there is a major mistake made by Everton which I can't remember there being for a while, then season ticket holders with the most aways get first priority for away tickets. If you've only been to 4 aways and the club expected it to sell out to 5, which it did, how is that Everton's fault?

The more games you turn up for, the more of a chance you have of getting a ticket. Do people never stop moaning? If you havent got a ticket, you have not been to enough away games. Simple. NEXT

It is frustrating when cup games don't count as aways, but the rules were agreed with supporter groups prior to season start (that's also when the away cup ticket auto scheme was scrapped). If cup games where included they would have had to raise the qualification criteria to 7 or 8 aways (to include cup games) in order to satisfy the 2,800 quota. Your chances of getting a ticket would still depend on you having 5 prem aways; so you may feel angry and pissed at the situation but there are only so many tickets and the qualification is based on an ability to supply ratio. Not the clubs fault. Just sayin again like
