Its midweek, on Sky and is £40. I think it will definitely go to Season ticket holders. I have 3 so will have to wait until it goes to 2 ffs.

Absolutely no chance it will go to season tickets with no aways. United away with Moyes in charge is a massive game, we've been selling out London games by 2 aways never mind a game only forty minutes up the road.

I agree with people saying that the allocation is too small. I don't know how they get away with it. But to be honest, we never take great support there compared to other places. Our support at City is always great and we sell out every time we go, but don't often take our usual numbers to OT. Obviously that's down to us not winning there since 1992 and the tickets usually being over £40 and it's on TV every time.

It's not being shown on Sky, or on any other UK tv channel.

First time in 7 years that a Man Utd vs Everton match at Old Trafford hasn't been shown live on tv in this country.

On a separate note, wow that away fan initiative is really great - I mean, a whole £5 saved!

Just the £40 for the match ticket and £15 for the coach then....

I think my main gripe is that We're taking £5 off 4 fixtures? Better than a punch in the face, but weren't we given £250k to improve our Away fans, match day experience...

Yet i find that we're spending a paltry £50k of that... on our own fans, and what appears to certainly not to be £200k on the rest. Liverpool have taken £2 off every ticket price, a saving of £38, whilst i know it might be petty to moan, but it's double our savings... but that's alright, cause when Fulham and their 12 fans come, they can be served by Barmen in Fulham Shirts!

Ah well, i'm still going!

Agree with all of that mate! As you said, £5 is better than nothing, but the way it's dressed up, you'd think we were getting a substantial saving. It's still £40 for the ticket and we've all still got to get there as well.

Another thing which isn't clear is how much the tickets actually are....

As seen on the ManUtd Website. the prices for Our Area are £40, £41 and £50, yet our site says the £5 has been taken off already..... So Are we actually getting any money off at all?

I Smell a rat.

Edit: Man Utd charge £5 more to away fans for some reason.... great savings ay!

Agree with this too. Obviously the £5 off is better than nothing but I found it a bit insulting that Everton basically said, we know we sell out everywhere so our fans don't really need any help. How about rewarding us for our loyalty? How many other sets of fans would turn out in the numbers we do without a trophy for 18 years?

As you said there, Liverpool are getting £2 off every game so their fans are being rewarded more than we are, and they sell out everywhere. The likes of Spurs and Chelsea offering £10 coach travel for all non-London games will save their fans a lot more money too.

I dont understand, isnt 40 notes pretty "standard" these days for a match ticket?

Aint it like £37 for the Gwladys these days?

So far this season:

Norwich £45
Cardiff £35
West Ham £42
Man City £42
Aston Villa £39
Crystal Palace £32

The average price thus far has been £37.50.

The point is, 'the standard' price is too much.

If football is 2 hours of entertainment, as it's dressed up as these days, then it should be compared to, say, going to the cinema. To watch a blockbuster movie at the Liverpool One Odeon, top whack is what, £16?

That's what a football match should cost, £15-£20. No more than that.
