Grove Mount playing fields ?, we used to get the bus there from school every week and the school team played their home games there.

…that’s it, Jonny. 25 goals in 19 competition games for Liverpool Boys that season. I actually scored 5 in an English Trophy game at Grove Mount which created a bit of a stir at the time.

As you can tell, I’m very modest about my goals.
