Not to sure that bottom pic is 2020 joey looks more like 70s or very early 80s.

Thats what the caption stated - I thought it looked similar to the 1960s too much ?

I think 2020 is probably right. It’s now the car park at the back of what is now the crown plaza hotel. The old plane and fire truck are on display there

When I was in my final year at school, studying Environmental studies in 1971 we were told an ice age was coming, & everyone would retire at the age of 55 years old & the leisure industry would boom ...

They got 1 out of 3 correct anyway -

The old landing stage now sits next to the brand-new cruise terminal which has just opened at the Pier Head. Sadly it looks like it has been condemned, it's just a haven for birds now -
