Where that road runs up past the new houses is roughly where the entrance to the old corpy yard I use to work out of, in my past life as a flagger for the corpy.

Think I’ve mentioned this before, but use to play footie by the water tower in our dinner hour when I worked for the Corpy Also we’d go to a pub there after work( can’t remember the name) one of the older workers could play the piano so would bang out a few songs for free beer. Working for the corpy in those days give you plenty of free time during the day .
