I remember being in the bath one Friday night and next thing the bouncers were in the bathroom cleaning themselves up after some blokes had come in attacking them with iron bars in the club 😂

Used to get some decent acts there apparently, some who went onto shows like Opportunity Knocks.

Litherland Road is so long, runs from Merton Road, parallel with Stanley Road/Linacre Road up to Kirk Road, but I think you’re right, was it at the junction of Aintree Road/Fernhill Road? They all seem the same to me down there 🤣

Yep, I was in a band back in the day, played there a few times, it was considered a top venue back then, trying to compete with Allinsons, Wookey Hollow etc to attract big acts.
