I know that post 1945 the UK was basically bankrupt, but most civic architects of the post war period, need to hang their heads in shame.

….thanks for that, it’s part of my childhood. The clip of the ‘Hippy’ would’ve been taken from the top of my street and all the film around Margaret St baths. Kids and dogs roaming the streets, came home when they were hungry, how life has changed in a generation.

Part of my childhood too, only a small part, but I feel my life experience wouldve been the poorer without those years I spent wandering around London Rd, Islington, Shaw St, Everton etc in the 60s.
