New Brighton baths 1935 - the basis of the set-up was there as it developed - the water was salty & Icy cold as I remember... -
A massive employer from afar back then for all trades -
The equivalent of Harley Street in London - for specialist Private consultants - Rodney Street Liverpool - still going -

Interesting family link here. Circa 1916, my maternal grandfather (born in Birmingham) had been badly injured in France.
Shipped back to a hospital in Liverpool, for treatment and recuperation. He goe's for a walk in town, and notices a pretty young woman polishing the steps of a consultants practice. The rest is history as they say.
