They practiced beach landings on the beach where I live near now. There are still clues to WW2 all around where I live from Cannons to Air-raid shelters.

…fantastic picture, thanks for sharing. Whereabout in NI is that beach? I recall reading U-Boats surrendered off the coast of Southern Ireland after the war.
