…..one of my earliest memories was my Dad walking with me in his arms to Myrtle St Children’s hospital in dense fog. As a toddler i must have grown a little overnight and I could no longer cleanly walk under the table and split my head open. I’d guess it was circa 1958;
Is that a Routemaster bus in the earlier picture?
…just had to look what a Routemaster Bus looks like and I think we had some that were similar to London buses.
Yes, I wondered if the Routemaster description applied to all buses where you boarded at the back and paid a conductor or if it only included those in London that were running when I lived there.
….that descriptor certainly applied to Liverpool buses when I was a kid but I’m not sure if Routemaster was model.
