To think we used to laugh at those electric milk floats - how slow they went .....

The 1950s was a time of great change in Britain - especially after the immediate post-war austerity years. In Liverpool, massive slum clearances - I was born mid 1950s -

I remember one of these sores in Winsford while residing in Northwich - gosh there own bright yellow brands were disgusting produce - only went once ... lol -

Started on the high Street - Green shield stamps what a con they were lol -A tennis racket.. picked it up in Liverpool. Took about 5 books and 2 years..




Hanover Street to get our rewards. they also awarded points in Embassy Cigarettes points in her embassy cigarettes too -

….house opposite me still have their milk delivered. The milk float rattles past ours most mornings at 5am.

I noticed that too, but they were an old brand of very good tools pardon the pun lol

I just laughed when i saw it, but on the car boots collectors of engineers were acfter them in old tool boxes as the were a very good brand of spanners etc ...

I wondered when a poster would spot it

….my father-in-law passed away a few years ago and has literally drawers full of old tools in his garage. Must look to see if any are Abingdon D1ck.
