Do I understand correctly that the referee was changed from Steve Bennett to Mike Riley? Unbelievable, think the standard of refereeing is poor as a whole, but Mike Riley is just awful. ******* Mike Riley, one of the (if not the) worst referee we could get. Awful decision by the FA. I'm afraid their so called respect campaign will again get a lot of publicity on Sunday. For all the wrong reasons mind you.

Riley was ref in Man Utds 3-2 win over Villa the other week and I thought he was harsh on Utd, at the time I thought it could be because of the press he has had of favouring them.

He'll make it all about him. He's 1 of those refs that loves the limelight, we don't go to watch a ref, he's just the man in charge of a game we want to see but some absolutely love showing that they are in charge. He'll do something hugely controversial just so everyone knows that he was officiating at Wembley & it'll almost certainly be in favour of United. Not a good bit of news at all this.
