Going off the Bank of England inflation calculator, a ticket for the Main Stand today would now be just over £180, and I know we don't have them anymore but the terraces would be under £100 ! And that was for 21 home game league season. Next year for season tickets it'll be between £730 and £900 for general admission adult tickets for 19 matches (assuming we stay in the top flight of course).
In bold, you would get more fans in standing even under new H&S laws - so it would be far less than £100 to stand even today .... plus far bigger attendances than seating - the computerisation of the turnstiles would make it safe ....
