For @roy vernon & co - rereading his autobiography ATM - if not for being a chain smoker he would have surpassed Jimmy Graves & Dennis Law - Plus he was a real rebel to management where ever he played - when dropped in the reserves in his latter days it was throwing it down with rain & told the reserve manager he would only play if he had an umbrella which he produced to use - begging him he only threw it on the floor when running out by the exit tunnel onto the pitch -
