….must be true then but I’d be more inclined that it was from open play. He was a terrific crosser of a football, I remember one he delivered for England in Mexico the year before 1970 World Cup but I don’t recall him taking a corner. Saying that, it might well have happened.

Multi Millionaire that was 1985 - when we won the league - he revolutionised us in 1962 in those days he was on LFC board too - but favoured EFC - when he died his sons backed LFC

I tend to think like you mean - our corner takers were Morrissey & Husband or Ray Wilson or Bally etc - Tommy was a great overlapping fullback though ....
