I was at that game I think David Johnson played his second debut the same day August 1982.
I remember a blue close to me clapping him early on " well done Johno mate" by the end of the match the same fella was calling him a Kopite barsteward and making reference to the reasons behind his departure first time round.

Johnson first time around was a great forward - , but I remember him as an unlucky striker he hit the woodwork a hell of a lot - selling him a part exchange plus we added cash in the deal for Rod Brelfitt who was crap & lasted 11 games...was pure madness again by the Catt....

Westy a great Character & Keeper - Bally after his playing days " would he buy Gordon West a drink - " I would too, have you seen the size of him now " Westy felt Bally should have had the Captaincy taken off him & given back to his mate Labby in the 1970-71 season - perhaps he may have been correct?
