crikey, how young does Moyes look there?

Richard "Dickie" Boyle - the esk's Great Grand Father, and therefore Great Great Grandfather of my children - he scored in the 1897 Cup Final and appeared in Everton's first competitive game at Goodison in 1892:

Brilliant!

Check out the mad crowd movements at 1:00...also loved how our players calmed down the police when it looked like they were getting a bit heavy-handed towards the fan who stormed the pitch.

This has been seen many times I reckon, but it's still a great capture:

Wow, that's amazing the way they all moved down then, it was just a case of people all standing now.

Back in the days when the atmosphere was special.

It's a shame you can hardly see the church now, it's one of the most distinctive features of any ground in the world. At least Gwladys St is now kept warm on a windy day.

We could of course leave the church as it is but still extend the Main Stand over Goodison Place. Be cool that.

Family Enclosure isn't kept warm one bit(or dry), whistles in through there & it's always in the shade as well so its a coat job for EVERY game, we can all still see it plain as day btw
