1986 "Lineker" Cup Final v RS. The Everton squad were flying back to Liverpool on the following day just as I was flying back to the Isle of Man and I collared them in the quiet of the departure lounge. I managed to get the signature of the whole travelling squad on my match programme with the exception of Pat Jennings and Peter Reid. (I understand Reid had gone to Germany for some reason.)

Ha yes makes sense so the pose is correct for the camera

I have read a lot about this cup tie almost called off after a snow fall kept the attendance down as after hard work by the grounstaff with 1/2 an hour the ref decide it could be played - Southport must have regretted it..... Dixie thunders a neader home -
