Out of bed at 5.30 am yesterday for a day trip to spend another seven hours in the archives at Liverpool Library for more photos and match reports. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get photos that either I have not got already or that are of a quality that is copyable. My efforts obtained just over 30 new ones and these will appear on my Pinterest account in the next few days for those who follow it. Meanwhile here are the first three goals scored for the Blues by Alex Young (a hat trick spread over three days (two in the away game and one in the return fixture). Two are from my trip yesterday and one is from the internet.
