According to this, we finished top of our group in the International Soccer League and lost to Dukla Prague in the only two-legged tie.

In some ways, I miss that aspect of football.

In some ways I don't, maybe just a return to it being an actual contact sport would be enough.

No proper brawls anymore. You only get slight touches on the forehead and 10 players snitching to teacher.

And John Connolly pictured was stretchered off with a broken leg. They tried to kick us of the park. Tension and mayhem around ground too as there were a lot of Mancs came to support them!

yep went both of those games, they really did try to kick us off the park,and that was in the days when you could throw a decent tackle in, the second game was a lot easier as are class showed,

Did not go to the replay at OT but mates who did loved it. Attendance was well over 30000 I think, mainly Blues.

there were loads of us there, they had the Stretford end, but there was a crew of Everton in there as well.
bit to early for me to be in the crew.
