Okay that's the breaking point

Just to add a little grey to the black and white.
Today was unacceptably poor, but he's done well since he's been here, needs time and needs backing in the window. Will be interesting to see if we improve with the sort of players he wants further up the field.

I'm not 100% sure we will improve vastly with new players.

He's stabilised us. And that's what he was bought here to do. Anything above that feels a bonus to me anyway.

Small time mentality.

We were rock bottom when he came in, what do you expect from this point on? A title challenge? A top 4 challenge?

Today wasnt great, infact it was awful and I really dont want to make excuses, but we really do have a lot of injuries.

I was asked by a frandelino the other day who my player of the calendar year was, we both agreed it was Gana, missing today, you would be hard pressed to pick anyone other than Rooney for the player of the season so far, missing today, our first choice RB and LB, missing, Ross Barkley has been missing all season, these arent excuses, but they are factors.

Again I will stress that we were awful, against a side we should have rolled over, the defence is doing well, the team are defending very well as a unit, its a start, unbeaten in 8, clean sheets, its a platform, with all platforms you need to build on them, otherwise they are useless, but the amount of kneejerking utter tosh my poor eyes have had to read today is vomit inducing.

Then plantpots like you make comments like small time mentality, if not getting beat is small time, well call me a midget and smack my arsehole, cos the only thing better than an Everton win is Everton not getting beat, yeah, hardly NSNO, but I dont live in a bubble were reality shifts.

Anyway, just for clarity I will state that that today was utterly horrific, but if we continue to stay unbeaten and picking up points, im not gonna be crying my heart out like most have today.

Don't get me wrong Sam has done well considering the position we was in before he came and the fact he has sorted out the defence has been great but my god the footy has been dire the last few games. He needs to now sort out a happy medium of defence and attack. Booting the ball forward and hoping for the best and it coming straight back just isn't good enough.

We've conceded two goals in seven games you clown. Before that we conceded twenty in the same amount of games.

Get real. He's done exactly what he needed to do - sure up the defence and grind out results. The time for improvement at the other end comes with confidence and getting players in for the right balance. Be patient.

Christmas has certainly made some of your brains melt!! Six weeks ago we were getting bummed 4 or 5 every week with the same group of players. The footballs not great at the moment but the results currently are all that matters. Sam has even come out and said he is not happy with the way we use the ball when we have it, so what do you all expect him to do? Until he gets a window in him and can shape the team how he wants, he is doing what is needed to keep us from the crap at the bottom. If after January we are not looking a little more expansive then I will be a bit dissapointed but for now I'm impressed how quickly he has sorted the defence out, as it gives us a base to build from.

Some of you guys really need to get some perspective.

Yes that's right, he needs the Jan window, but he really. Can't afford to wait to long to bring attacking players in at least 2 are needed imo.
