Oh.. The points we have dropped...

The Fulham and Newcastle games still annoy me. We had two legit goals chalked off against Newcastle. We battered Fulham as well but just couldn't get the goals. Then they have a freekick from 20 yards out and slot it easily. Think they only had three shots the entire match and ended up scoring two of them. Grrrr!

I have followed Arsenal today, hoping they would get beat..

I followed Spurs Uefa, hoping they had a tough game midweek..

But, having seen Reading played off the park by Southampton today.. I cant help think of the points dropped against, lets face it.. bum teams !
Norwich.. surely given the game situations, 5 points dropped...

How many points have we dropped ? AGAINST how many points we didnt derserve to pick up ??

Just to stop the depression:

Oh the points we have gained...

City 4
Spurs 3+?
United 3
Arsenal 1+?
Liverpool 1+?

Swings and roundabouts

We were the better team in every one of those matches.

The fact is there hasn't been too many games where we've been outplayed and stolen the points. But there's been a few where we've outplayed the other guys and lost the points.

It's not about reputation, it's about taking advtange of good performances. Finishing teams while we're on top.

That is the gash thing about this season. Were it not for the few ridiculous results above we could be 3rd or 4th

I need to read the mood better.
Maybe should of put something more like:
Just to renew the waning depression on this thread, here is a different list to sink the hearts.....

Fulham away hurt, as did Newcastle at home!

The reality is that most other teams can reel off teams they should be beaten but didn't like us!

Retrospect and hindsight, 2 of the greatest burdens of being an Evertonian.

Newcastle at home, Fulham away and Norwich at home, with the latter of the 3 truly invoking eternal rage.

Really hoping we have the wherewithal to make one of the European places ours so I don't have to wonder 'if only' at the end of the season.

Them games like Fulham away and Norwich both home and away were horrible, just praying to get over the finish line and away with the points only to [Poor language removed] it up, there was an air of inevitability about it when we did concede in them games too, 7 points alone in just them 3 games.

It would be just like us to do well in the tough aways, tomorrow, Arsenal, Chelsea and the rs, and make a complete balls of the other 4 games.

Why Liverpool? They should've had two sent off and Everton were better over the 90 minutes.

They still claim Suarez was robbed of a late goal, but if they were honest they'd admit that he wasn't. It was just disallowed for
the wrong reason.

The run of games from October 6th - November 24th looks like it will ultimately cost us a place in the top 4 this season. We played Wigan, QPR, Liverpool, Fulham, Sunderland, Reading and Norwich, and only took 8 points from a total of 21 available against teams who were all in the bottom half at the time.
